Pulse Oximeter

If you choose to have oral sedation dentistry for your smile makeover, instant orthodontics, restorative procedures, or hygiene procedures, you will be monitored with
a pulse oximeter.

Your heart rate is constantly displayed digitally.  Oxygen saturation readings via a fiber optic light attached to your finger insures the most critical component, effective breathing, is monitored second by second.  If ever it slips below a safe level an alarm instantly alerts us to correct the situation.  Blood pressure readings are recorded every 5 minutes.  With this information automated and constantly updated, we can focus on the dentistry and at the same time have total awareness of your vital signs and safety.  The best way to treat an emergency is to prevent it.  The Pluse Oximeter is our key component in insuring your comfort and safety.
