  • Wrap approximately 18 inches of dental floss around your middle fingers
  • Hold the floss tightly between your thumbs and index fingers and gently guide it between your teeth
  • Slide the floss down to your gum line
  • Forming a C-shape around the contours of your tooth, gently move the floss in an up-and-down motion to remove any debris or plaque that has built up
  • Repeat the process with the adjacent tooth, and then continue this process with the rest of your teeth using fresh sections of the floss each time you insert it in between two new teeth
